ASPIRE ARTS IN MOTION Dance teacher -- Celia chao
Celia Chao is ASPIRE ARTS IN MOTION ballet and contemporary dance teacher. She grew up learning many styles of dances such as jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop. Although she
enjoyed all styles, her main specialization is ballet. When she first started to dance at
the age of three, she only took ballet classes. She was professionally trained in both ballet and jazz to enter the Royal Academy of Dance examinations. Celia has completed all her examinations and now has achieved her Royal Academy of Dance certificate. She is currently a student at the University of Calgary, where she is studying toward her dance education degree. Celia has participated in competition both in Calgary and cities outside of Calgary. Her personal goals as a teacher is to ensure that she teaches her students to the best of her ability with kindness, equality, patience, and creativity.
